how nice i thought it was to see two women, focus group respondents, exchanging phone numbers at the end of the groups last night. Great that the research experience lead to such bonding, or so i thought. As they sauntered past me, still in earshot of the client i hear one whisper to other … ‘yer, so if you call her she can normally sort you out with a group once a month’
a friendly exchange of numbers…

as yet there is no plan for this site. only a means to collate an increasing number of concerns about the practice of MR. Reading such comments on a fourm for a UK magazine seemed to sum up so many issues surrounding the use and practie of traditional research… “whoever was in the focus group didnt have a clue” … says much about how savvy the public are, how tired the practice can be, how much potential there is for the client to be in contact with its public and the idiosincracies of recruitment and participation in contemporary commercial research
